Does acer aspire 4720z have inbuild wireless?? if yes then how do i switch it on ??

Acer Aspire 4720 has a wireless button to enable/ disable the wireless communication on your laptop.

You also refer to Acer 4750Z Manual for further information, if required.

Acer Aspire 4720z has Broadcom wireless adaptor
I faced the same issue and contacted the Acer Support and download driver for Acer Aspire 7220 and 7520G, which have the same wireless wireless adaptor. IT WORKED!

The far left button below the start button (middle, top) is the wireless button. It seems this button is finicky and the led doesn t always light. Open the control panel and access the Windows Mobility Center at the bottom. The wireless feature enable button will not be accessible if the wireless button is not activated. While on this screen press the far left button that has a dish network symbol and keep pressing it over and over until the button on the mobility center panel is enabled. This is the only clue you will have on whether the button is on or off.

press FN F11 make sure you install your drivers on you laptop yah..make sure you see the lights of wifi or blootooth

to turn on wireless network connection you should launch windows mobility center,follows steps below

• Use the shortcut key <windows key > + <X>
• windows mobility center will open (start->control panel->windows mobility center)

in wireless network segment click turn ON button

hi!we have read your problem.please dont worry, every problem has a solution.since you have stated that you have lost the driver details your system should have crashed.have you prepared a recovery dvd for your laptop.if yes you install the drivers from it.hope your problem is tackled.have a nice day!!!

download proeper driver for yhour wlan.

I had the same problem just today but it got fixed...you have to install the foxconn driver as well as the broadcomm driver, the system connects only with foxconn utility. I hope it solves your problem as it did mine.

i want all the drivers of acer aspire 4720 for winxp.
