I am not sure if this is the right newsgroup.
I have a DLINK dsc-100 web cam/digital camera combo. When I try to
install the device under Win xp pro the computer crashes.
I have downloaded the latest drivers for xp from the dlink web site. I
have already installed the drivers in my machine.
However, I am experiencing problems after I plug in the USB camera,
Windows XP recognizes a new device and prompts me to search for the
drivers automatically. The system reboots after it creates a restore
point automatically and tries to install the drivers and it won't let
me install them.
I have done this 5 times and it fails at the same point. Please let me
know if there are updated drivers or how I can solve this. Otherwise I
may have to return this product as I need it to communicate from
overseas.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Good start.
You could try looking on the D-Link site to see if they have any advice.

Andrew.
