you may check youe BIOS settings by restarting the pc and repeatedly press F2. Then check your PC or system settings wherein there is a list of peripherals such as Floppy Disk, CD/DVD drive, Network Adapter etc. Those peripherals will tell you if they are enabled or not. use your arrow keys to select and check if the CD/DVD drive is enabled.
