Garmin 1450 does not recognize memory card

What are you trying to put on the SD card? A map? If so, you need to create a subdirectory on the SD card called "Garmin" and the map file and unlock file should be named "gmapsupp.img" and "gmapsupp.unl".

My Garmin nuvi 1390 quit working while driving in Denver Colorado today. How do you get it to come back on again. Does it require batteries?

Your Garmin went into hibernation mode. This is due to the fact that it went below 38 degrees. This triggers this so called "sleep mode". To undo this state, simply hold the power button down for 15-30 seconds until it comes on again.

When the power button is pressed, the "garmin logo" screen recycles continuously. Holding the power button to reset doesn't help. Like a computer stuck in a loop.

Please see THIS TIP on the Garmin Master Reset.

Then update your unit using Garmin's WebUpdater. CLICK HERE.

Garmin Nuvi 205 continues to state Loss Satellites

If your Garmin NUVI 205 can be recognized by your computer when plugged in, I recommend you backup your favorites.

Then I suggest a hard reset. This correct some problems.

Finally, replace the firmware and system software using webupdate. Replacing the firmware should allow it to find more satellites more quickly and keep them more successfully after the update.

I hope that helps.
