Your problem is because the 2 wireless mouse and keyboard sets are interfering one another, you can try to enlarge the distance between the 2 transmitters as far as you can, or check in the set manual if you can change it's frequency, or you can replace one set with a set of different company, or change it to a wired set.

by the way if you press the connect button on the bottom of the mouse and then the connect button on the transmitter it makes a connection,
do it on each computer when the other computer is closed, and it should be ok.

It sounds like your computers are virtually connected somehow by Remote Desktop or VNC. VNC stands for Virtual Network Computing. It is remote control software which allows you to view and fully interact with one computer desktop (the "VNC server") using a simple program (the "VNC viewer") on another computer desktop anywhere on the Internet.

Your best bet would be to hold the reset button down at the back of your router for around 15 to 20 seconds. The router will then be back to the factory presets it was shipped with and should hopefully negate the problem.

Please let me know if this helps. Good luck!

To properly connect a second router to a main router that acts as the gateway, follow the steps below.

1. Try to isolate your 2nd router first by disconnecting everything from it and connect a computer to port 1. Make sure that the power cord is plugged in.
2. Reset the router.
HARD RESET- Reset the device to factory default.
1] Press and hold the reset button for 30 sec., after that
2] Unplug the power keep holding down the reset button for another 30 sec.
3] Then, plug back the power keep holding down the reset button for 30sec., after that
4] Release the reset button.
3. From the computer open an Internet Explorer browser and type on the address field. Leave user name blank and type admin on password, you should be at the Setup Page by now.
4. Click on Setup Tab and change the LAN IP/Local IP addresses to then hit apply/Save settings. Note that, it won't go back to the Setup Page, close your browser.
5. Access the new IP address of the through Internet Explorer browser. Type on the address bar Look for DHCP Server under the Setup Tab. Disable the DHCP then click on apply/Save settings.
6. Shut down the computer and power down the router. Now get a cat5 straight-through Ethernet cable and plug one end to one of the four ports at the back of the secondary router and plug the other end to one of the regular ports on the Main router. Then turn both back on. The 2nd router should be ready to provide connectivity now.

Hope this help everyone.

    • plug a cable into the ethernet port ( 1,2,3 or 4) of main router and plug the other end to the ethernet port on the 2nd router

How can i stop people from getting on my wireless router step by step please im new to all of this thanks ?

Click Start-> RUN -> CMD . A Black windows will open. type ipconfig in that windows. Check the gateway address you are getting. Open Internet explorer and type the same gateway address in address bar on Internet Explorer. If asks for password type username and password - Admin. Or check according to your router manufacturer. Once open you will get Router page. Go to wireless settings and the security. Choose security type like WEP/WPA and then set password/Key for your network. Save settings in router page and then restart router. Search for available wireless network on your computer. try connecting to your network now it will ask you password. Don't share your network password with anyone and no one will be able to use it.
