WMP300N I dont have the cd rom to set it up what do I do

Hi,

The reason behind that is because the CD ROM cannot read DVDs. If you want to play or install DVD based programs you need to replace your CD ROM with a DVD-ROM or DVD-RW. You also can purchase an external DVD ROM if you dont want take that CD ROM from its place.

Depending on what bios it has it may not show the cd drive. All you can do is set it to auto or if it has the option to cd or atapi. Then set the boot order so that the cd is looked at before the hard drive and you should then boot off of the cd.

Well, you need a DVD-ROM not a CD-ROM. If you have a CD-ROM and it's not playing then it's because you need a DVD-ROM and it's not working then I don't know, sorry! From Jake @ Dudey-Dreamz.piczo.com

Best solution to use computer with internet in another location download the driver put into flash/thumb drive. You can download it from http://www.linksysbycisco.com/US/en/support/

Disable or uninstall the Linksys software that manages and monitors the connection.

Use instead the Microsoft Windows Wireless configuration utility.

That's what I did and didn't get problem after.
