If you have the power supply aka the brick and just need the cord from the brick to the wall, a PS2 power cord works just fine! I found that out by accident, but since PS2 is very popular chances are you can find one at any store or on ebay. from the brick to the round post on the back of the device, I don't know about that one...but if you just lost the one piece..the PS2 works fine
thanks,

What is power brick cord?

An AC adapter, sometimes called a power brick, is a little box that takes the Alternating Current (AC) line voltage from your house receptacle and converts it into a Direct Current (DC) voltage that is used by your electonic device (computer, hard drive, etc.). This power brick sometimes has a separate power cord that is removable from the brick. This cord usually connects to your house receptacle, and sometimes it is a standard cord with standard connectors on each end.

I got this Pacific Digital model 1930-24 in a yard sale. It needs a power supply/adapter. Where in canada can I purchase one and is this power supply common. I have a disc drive back up unit for my PC that...

Possibly not. It depends on what the power points are on the connector. The Pacific Digital 1930-24 uses the following pinout voltages: 1 = +12VDC ; 2 = +5VDC ; 3 = RTN/CMN ; 4 = +5VDC ; 5 = RTN/CMN. The pinout DOES NOT follow a clockwise or counter clockwise position. The pinout starts at the bottom with pin 1 by itself, above it is Pin 2 & 4 above that. On the opposite side is 3 with 5 on top. Or you can view the following image: http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/7204/minidin5p.gif
Again, that is the pinout for the socket on the 1930-24. Some iOmega external CDRWs have the +5VDC and RTN pins swapped. So they would not be a good alternative to use.

Where can i get a ac adapter for a Pacific Digital 1930-48

If you can get an adapter with the correct connector, you could try to make your own power adapter, or even convert an iOmega adapter.

I lost my power supply cord when I moved. Where can I find another for a model USB 1930-52?

Hello, you can buy one AC to DC voltage converter (usually 1000mA) - which comes with multiple output tips and you manual setting the Volt that are required by your burner(check behind of your burner near the socket that you plug the power it should right ..Volt and the mA or AMP) and adjust the converter

I do not have the round 4 or 5 pin cable that connects to the back of the dvd burner and to the computer.

I have the same Pacific Digital burner; I'm pretty sure the "round 4 or 5 pin cable" you're referring to is a 5 pin power supply cable.

Does the model CW088D get its power from a computer? If so where can I get the cord to connect them together?

Yes it does this is an INTERNAL model and you should be looking fo a connector about 1" wide and 1/4 thick

These pics show you what to look for

Note the shape it should only go in one way.

If you dont have any spare connections most computer shops sell a
1 into 2 adaptor that will get you going see the pics again for more idea.
