Your PSP has a problem of stuck keys or buttons and as a result the game reads it as if you are the one directing the player on what direction to move. There are a few home techniques which can be applied but for your convenience, it is not advised as they most times cause more damage to the PSP. It is best advised you send it to a repairer who would have to open and reset or replace any part if the need arises.
hi , the problem is your power button , where you turn it
on , it is in the hold position , and it will have a KEY icon , push the
power button up 1 notch , the lock key icon will go away and unlock your buttons ! i could use your fix ya vote , let me know if that

try backing up ur data on the psp then restore ur psp to defaults from psp settings and if u cant access that connect ur psp to the computer and try restore from there,,,
sorry i couldnt find any more help
I think there might be a problem with your configuration, remove all plugin then try to restore to default setting on setting menu. and/or if your psp installed Custom firmware, the umd speed are set to fast. do this via recovery menu (hold R trigger while turn on psp). you may need to fix L button if it is stuck. you may consoder sending it back to Sony for repair. You can call SONY support at 1-800-345-7669. hope this helps.
