Open Question

Sigma stat test malfunction

I can't run any descriptive stats, anovas, t tests, etc, without getting a no such test error message, and then some nonsense loop.

I'm not sure, but it probably gives the error because one of the values you entered isn't valid. It's too big or too small.

Defrosr heater is located behind the back wall of the freezer section. You will have to remove the shelves and ice maker if you have one installed. A number of screws secures the back wall in place. Remove the screws and the back wall should pivot out from the top.
The defrost thermostat is located behind this wall and is secured by a clip to the coil. To test this defrost switch you must lower its temperature below 16°F.

My coolant leaked out and on top there is a large hard plastic container, I had to replace it, that stopped my coolant leak.

I would have your head gaskets checked for leaks into cooling system and if ok try changing your water pump.

This will show you how to do statistics (calculate average, standard deviation, regressions etc.) as to the mode and median refer to the definitions.

TO COMPUTE STANDARD DEVIATION AND 2-VAR STATISTICS.

I assume you know the theory. I will show you the key strokes

For 1-Var statistics

I don't know anything about physics or statistics or anything like that so I cannot do a test problem. :-( But I am in physics now and the professor said we needed a calculator that can do 1 and 2 variable...


Do not go buy another calculator because this one does 1-var, 2-var, as well as some regression models, and some distributions.
For 1-var and 2-var statistics read on.

REGRESSIONS

To use the regression a+bx,
1. Select STAT mode : [MODE][3:STat] [ENTER][2:a+bx]
2. Fill the X and Y values in the template.
3. Press [SHIFT][STAT][7:Reg]
You have several options 1:A to get coefficient A, 2: B to get coefficient B, 3:r etc.

To access each one, you have to press [SHIFT][STAT][7:Reg] anew.

To access the various sums, you press [SHIFT]{STAT][4:Sum] and you can select Signa_x, Sigma_x^2, etc..

Standard Deviation


Hello,
If you want to do statistics with this calculator you press [MODE][3:STAT]. You have then 8 options 1:1-var, 2:A+BX, etc.
For one variable statistics you press 1. Enter the values for the X variable in the template. Once finished you press [SHIFT][1](STAT) then select the value you want ( n, x bar , and the standard deviations (X sigma n) and (X sigma n-1).

Nope, the TI-30XA is a one variable stat calculator.

Two variable stat is done OK by TI-36X or TI-30X IIS, also comparable HP or Casios
