Question about RCA OPAL M4001 MP3 Player

2 Answers

Video converts, loads, plays...but is flipped (inverted).

Brand new, no problems with anything other than vide plays upside down and inverted on the player. It looks fine on the converter's Player, btw. Any suggestions?

Discovered it was only happening when converting .mpgs to wmv. Therefore, converting my mpgs twice as follows:

.mpg to wmv:
then wmv to smv

...fixed the problem. No more flipped/inverted video.

FTR, I really love this player.

My son's new Sony Walkman NWZ-A728 suddenly won't play videos. I loaded one on to it from a stored file (in Realplayer, then Windows Media Player) but although it played this initially, suddenly it said...

Are the videos in the right format? The format that works for the mp3 is MP4 video. you must convert your videos using a mp4 converter.
i use winavi ipod converter (works with nwz a728)

Hope This Helps!

Sources: I have one myself and came across this problem :)

Can't load video onto my classic

I am not to sure exactly why you would be using QT for your ipod.
You need to upload only compatible video files to your iPod or they will not play and in most case will not even transfer to your iPod.
The iPod will not play a quicktime file or .mov, you need to search the net for a converter that can convert your file to .mpg and your videos will upload and play.
Also, you cannot transfer video directly from your quicktime program
you need to use iTunes and either sync them or manually load the vids to you ipod.

Wont play vides

Hmm, what software are you using to convert your movie? and do you have the same problem if you copy a movie directly from a DVD? try doing that if you haven't already.

The supplied convertion software is awful, very badly written and a waste of time, I use "Arcsoft MediaConverter" it works well is fast and is just a simple drag & drop interface.

First, you must to know What video, movie and audio formats are supported by iPod?

and then,
use a video converter to convert the video to the right way.

at last, save on video.

Loading videos to ipod nano 3rd generation

iPod Nano accepts only MP4 format video, please make sure your video is compatible with iPod Nano. If your vide is MP4 video, please follow these steps:
1. Open iTunes and click "File" to add your videos to iTunes library.
2. plug in your iPod Nano to computer, then iTunes will detect your iPod Nano as a device.
3. Select your iPod Nano device on the left panel of iTunes, click "Movies" tab, check the videos you want to sync and click "Apply", done.

If your video isn't MP4 format, you need third party software to convert video to MP4. You may try an iPod converter developed by Aimersoft; it can convert videos to iPod Video and iPod Nano, iPod Touch and iPod Classic with fast conversion speed and excellenrt output quality, that's really good for me, you can have a try, here is its official download link

Hope it helps.
