Question about SanDisk Sansa e260 MP3 Player

Cant delete i have a sansa e260 mp3 player i want to delete videos off of it but i dont know how. i tried doing it throgh windows media player but it didnt work, i put the videos on using the converter how can i take them off?

Go to my computer in your start menu...
then it should say like removable device or sansa e260...
then click on it and you should be able to go to your video folder..
then right on the you dont want and delete it...

Access the player via windows explorer and there should be a video folder you should find them in.

My Sandisk Sansa e260 wont let me delete songs


To delete files from your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 10:

To delete files from your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 11:

My Directions:

1. Connect your mp3 player to the computer

2. Open Windows Media Player

3. Click on the icon of your Mp3 player on the left-hand side of the Library

4. Click on the Songs, Tracks, or other Music Folder

5. Find a song or songs that you want to delete

6. Left-click the song once to highlight it

7. Press the “Delete” button on your computer’s keyboard

Downloading videos


You should try using Windows media Player and Sync the device and transfer it through Windows Media Player. The files should work as .wmv. Let me know if you have questions with this or run into any problems

You have to make sure that the device is on MSC mode...then make sure your device is plug in to the computer..Then go to programs - accesories - windows explorer, find the SanDisk in my computer, go to media1.gif, music and delete them from there

My e26o kept on deleting all my videos sometimes!


You videos are all currupt u will have to either download a new version of the videos or it will always do it!

Im having this problem too. I believe the video needs to be formatted for the device. Problem is I dont know which forrmat the device supports.
