Question about LG CHOCOLATE VX8500 Cellular Phone
I bought a chocalate phone and have had many problem's. It's not under warranty and I would like to know if there is something I can do to fix the problems. It scrolls uncontrolably and the send button doesn't function properly.
Try taking a razor and gently scraping any dirt or debris from the crack around the edge of the phone. it worked for me!

read up about them and opinions of the people who used to own them
thats what i have been doign and i keep hearing the same things, so i decided not to buy one.

I have the same exact problem. When I press the buttons once, it thinks i'm pressing it a gazillion times, and doesnt stop until i close the slider. Also, when I open the slider sometimes, it automatically calls the last person the phone dialed. My send button does not work as well, unless I press it 100x harder than any of the other buttons...

The fix for this problem is normally a software upgrade from your local Verizon Wireless store. The other issue that can cause this problem is a faulty sensor in the touch pad. If your phones are under warranty the service center can repair them for you generally. If they cant and yoy would like me to take a look at them for you just let me know. I have all the equipment to fix either problem!

Thats funny I am having the same problem I have had it 18 months now it keeps calling everybody in my contacts and when I end the calls it jumps to the next and starts calling and you can hear it scrolling constantly any help right now I have retired it and gone back to the old faithful lg8000
