If you have 240v going through the element then you have a broken neutral somewhere.Check the wires in the door, the thermostats,or the timer/pcb.the elemwnt wont be faulty.

From the Appliance Repair Clinic:

The cycle doesn't complete
If the cycle doesn't complete, check these:

Water-heating cycle
Water-heating cycle
Many dishwashers heat the wash and/or rinse water to a higher temperature, as the cycle calls for it. In these cycles, the dishwasher pauses after it has filled with water, waiting for the water to reach the pre-set temperature. What happens next, depends, as follows:

* On some units, the pause is timed and the unit continues after the allotted time.

* On others, the cycle can't continue until the water reaches the higher temperature. If you have this type of dishwasher and the water isn't being heated (say, because of a problem with the heating element or thermostat), after the unit stops at the heating cycle, it never continues. When you repair the heating-system problem, the "cycle problem" is fixed too.

I have a dryer model mde3706ayw that is not heating up...i have replaced the heating element, thermal fuse and both the high limit and cycling thermostats and still all im getting is cool air...the timer...

Check to be sure that you have 240v at the terminal block. If you replaced all those parts, there is nothing left to check. Either you don't have 240v or one of those parts is bad.

I have a Whirlpool LER8648LW0 and it will not heat up. I had to change the breakers and once I did that no more heat. Everything else works fine. The only difference in the breakers is the old ones were...

if you had heat in the dryer before you changed anything in the electrical box then i doubt very much it has anything to do with the dryer.if you have a meter you can check at the block where the cord connects to the dryer and make sure you have 240 volts coming to the dryer before you start messing with the dryer

Wont heat will tumble and i have checked all thermal switches all have continuty

Hi, Did you check to see if there is 240V to the dryer? Check to see if the element has continuity. If you wanr, you can remove the front panel and check to see if the element is getting 240V.
I hope this helps you. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Ryer not heating

If you have 110v from the timer connection to the element and ground, that is normal. You should have 240v between the two element connections. If you do, and the element is not hot, disconnect the wires from the element and check the continuity of the element. If you don't, check back thru the wiring until you find 240v. This test will show you where the fault is.

Dryer does not get hot enough to dry clothes Roper REX4634KQ1 Electric Dryer

Either the heater element is breaking or is loose and getting only 110V instead of 240V.  First I would check the wall outlet with a voltmeter for 240V between Line1 and Line2.  Also check the connections and continuity for the heater element.
