WAter fill message will not clear

I cannot get the machine to clear the "water fill" message. It was suggested I tap it because there is a magnet in there that sends the reset signal and it worked once but now I am stuck again. I've primed and primed but can't clear it. Any herlp would be GREAT!!!

The unit will have what's called a reed switch in the back of the unit. This works in conjuction with the magnet in the water chamber. If the unit has been jared in someway or the magnet has been de-magnetized it will not send the proper signal to the processor within the unit. Check if the light goes out using a seperate magnet. If not then the reed switch needs to be replaced. That's fine if you can do it yourself but not worth having a tech replace, might as well buy a new one.

2 things to check ..when was the last time you properly descaled the unit ? If the waterflow is restricted inside the lines and the boiler ,the interior flow meter signals the computer to show insufficient flow ..clean /descale .
If magnet floats to the top of the small lid that keeps it in the little chamber . If it does not float or partially sinks it is defective ..leaks through a tiny hole in the plastic and water filled the grey magnet with some water (adds weight ) then rusted the strong magnet into rusty magnetic powder and loses magnetic force .
You can use a new good strong magnet to see if the sensor is good by placing it where the old one was .Light should go OFF
The overall important service is to keep the scale out of any machine as much as you can .

My Saeco Incanto Deluxe keeps giving a message "Fill Water tank" even though the water tank is full. Does not allow me to choose any other options. Please Help.

Your machine has a magnet that floats in the water tank. If the magnet is not floating when you have water in the tank then you need to replace the magnet. You can also try to clean the magnet before replacing. It may be dirty and tends to stick to the water tank.

This is what it looks like.

I have a Fisher and Paykal MW512. When starting the machine on cold cycle the water only comes out in dribbles. On a hot cycle the it will fill but when it gets to the rinse it will not fill with water. Is...

had similar issue - cold water wouldn't come thorugh to fill the drum but the hot would. (changed the hot water hose to the cold water tap as an interim fix). father and husband managed to get the lid off the machine (screwdriver prising involved to flip the lid off the tabs near the front of the machine) then they were able to get in and have a look. ended up being a solanoid (spelling?) that had died. basically this part has magnetic parts to open/close the valve and the magnets had died or something. part replaced -- cost about $65. machine working fine now. hope that helps and made sense!

Its saying it has no water when it does and it wont make espresso or steam

Check to see if you have the gray float-magnet in the water tank. It should be in the bottom of the tank and float ing in a confined area. There is a sensor in the machine that detects the magnet when its up and clears the fill water tank message. If its down the magnet is bad and you will have to get a new tank.

Jura S9 coffee machine not drawing water - says FILL SYSTEM

I think the magnetic valve is defective. This is located on the left side (seen from behind inside the machine) and there`s connections between the thermoblock and the hot water outlet. Try to press the steambutton and check if the magnetic valve clicks, and maybe check with a voltmeter if it`s receiving power.

PS. During steamprocessing the pump just have small ticking sound, and not the same sound as during brewing. There is no way around this Fill system message, and the reset function is not activated until any System Messages has been clared.

Fill Watertank Message

The black thing floating in the water tank is a plastic shell with a magnet inside. If you clean it...make sure you reinstall it with the tapered (smaller) side down. There is a slight size difference BUT it will make ALL the difference in the world.

I had no idea there was a magnet in that black/greyish case. The direction of the casing is important.
I had the same problem and that solved it!

Fill Water Tank

When we got ours, i took the back off and taped the magnet to the receiver. this ensures that the message vever appears, it is a very poor set up anyway for waht is an excellent machine. We are careful to ensure that we do not run out of water and this has only happened twice in 4 years - ventilate and your away again.
