Except it's a special comm ii slot modem. I was waiting for a comm ii compatible ethernet card to replace my unneeded modem but gave up an bought a PCI version instead. Now I hear someone has a comm ii slot ethernet.

Apple sells an Ethernet card for the Comm slot II, part no. M4772ZM/A. I tried to order one and they sent the standard Comm slot Ethernet card, part no. M3065Z/A. I immediately called them to rectify the problem but the girl at Apple insisted that it should work. It turns out, it wouldn't even plug into the Comm slot II. I called Apple again, and the guy said, "Oh, that won't work." Arggh! Anyway, we did finally get it resolved; they sent me the CSII board and I returned the CS board.
You can order the cards from Apple. Just make sure you order by part number. $95 each. Try this phone number: 800/245-5156.
