Sounds like the DVD drive is going bad. Pretty soon it'll stop reading everything.
could replace the drive yourself. Just buy a replacement drive off
eBay/Amazon or some other retailer. The issue with that is that the Xbox 360 DVD
drives are designed to only work with the Xbox it came with, so you'll
have to do some fancy stuff to get the replacement to work in your Xbox.
complicated? Just send it back to Microsoft, let them sort it out. If
you're under warranty it should be free; otherwise, it'll cost you some
money. Here's a link to their service center. (If you send it in, remember you keep your hard drive! They might not send it back if you forget.)
