I have been trying to upload photos from my nokia 6500 to my computer and the computer keeps asking for data packet, how can i fix this problem and how can i upload the photos?

hi

the way u want to send photos, u will get charged from your carrier, as u r using the internet on the phone. u r better off just using a data cable, to transfer the photos, or even a usb bluetooth stick, easier, cheaper, and it is a once off purchase

I'm probably being really stupid but I can't work out how to download the photos I'be taken on my phone to my laptop. I've tried to bluetooth them but my laptop doesn't have bluetooth, and I'm stuggling...

Hi

  1. First you'll need to make sure your PC has a BlueTooth adapter, which will allow it to recognize other Bluetooth devices such as your phone. You can find a Bluetooth Data Suite27103elpdjh2558a9492436cb854 for under $30 that includes a Bluetooth adapter and software drivers for all phone types (the same one I use). It plugs into your usb port on your computer or laptop.
  2. Next you'll need to configure your phone's BlueTooth settings to make it visible to the Bluetooth Data Suite running on your computer. Open your phone and select the following menu options:
Settings --> Connection --> BlueTooth Link --> Setup --> Find Me
You'll be prompted to enter a unique passcode of your choosing (I used 1234 for example), and the Bluetooth Data Suite will pair with your cell phone... meaning they will be linked together and can start transmitting data files over a wireless Bluetooth connection.
You only need to pair your cell phone to your computer once. After that, your phone will be automatically recognized when you plug in the bluetooth adapter and have your phone within range.
  3. Once your computer and phone recognize each other, you can use the Bluetooth Data Suite to select photos from your phone and transfer them to your PC.
Thanks

Pictures from cell phone to computer

you can send them by using BLUETOOTH. If you can get your computer and phone to communicate via bluetooth by making both "recognizable" and then on the Katana, do a search for bluetooth devices. The computer name should show up on your phone. It will ask for a passcode that your computer gives you and the computer may ask for your phone's bluetooth passcode, which is typically 0000 and then you can access it like a hard drive on your computer. Click and drag the photos to your new destination on your computer from the window that shows your phone's photos... Just remember the photo's on your phone are very low quality and they'll be smaller than the ones on your computer...

I can not download music from my PC to my Katana Eclipse X.

Hi, Welcome to FixYa

There are three ways to transfer files to your mobile. USB,Bluetooth,3G Upload

Using a USB connection:
The Sanyo Katana Eclipse is compatible with the "USB Mass Storage" norm. While linking your Sanyo Katana Eclipse to your computer should make it appear as a memory key. Open it and just drag MP3 or other sound or music files straight to your phone, as if it was one of your computer's folder. For the remaining steps, please refer to your Sanyo Katana Eclipse manual. The ringtone section should explain how to select an uploaded file as a ringtone. You can download user guide here
By Bluetooth:
The Sanyo Katana Eclipse is Bluetooth-enabled. Bluetooth is a wireless system which lets you connect your cell phone to computers, headsets, car kits, etc. If your computer is also Bluetooth-enabled, simply establish a connection between both devices and transfer your music files from your computer to your Sanyo Katana Eclipse.

Via a 3G Uploader:
If none of the above tricks do not work with your Sanyo Katana Eclipse or if you prefer not to buy new accessories, you can still use one of the numerous free "3G Uploader" services available online. 3G uploaders work as follows: Save your own music on their web site and they will provide a temporary URL. Navigating to that URL with your Sanyo Katana Eclipse's browser should download the free ringtone.

Thanks

How to send photo from mobile to our computer

there are 3 ways

1.
You can use the USB data cable to transfer data between
the device and a compatible PC or a printer supporting
PictBridge. You can also use the USB data cable with
Nokia PC Suite.
To activate the device for data transfer or image
printing, connect the data cable. Confirm "USB data
cable connected. Select mode.
" and select from the
following options:
Nokia mode — to use the device for PC Suite
Printing & media — to use the device with a
PictBridge compatible printer or with your
compatible PC
Data storage — to connect to a PC that does not
have Nokia software and use the device as a data
storage device
To change the USB mode, select Menu > Settings >
Connectivity > USB data cable and the desired USB
mode.

2.
Set up a Bluetooth connection
Select Menu > Settings > Connectivity >
Bluetooth and from the following options:
Bluetooth — Select On to activate the Bluetooth
function. indicates that Bluetooth is activated.
My phone's visibility — to define how your device
is shown to other Bluetooth devices
Search for audio enhancements — to search for
compatible Bluetooth audio devices. Select the
device that you want to connect to the phone.
Active devices — to check which Bluetooth
connection is currently active
Paired devices — to search for any Bluetooth device
in range. Select New to list any Bluetooth device in
range. Select a device and Pair. Enter an agreed
Bluetooth passcode of the device (up to 16
characters) to pair the device to your device. You
must only give this passcode when you connect to
the device for the first time. Your device connects to
the other device, and you can start data transfer.
My phone's name — to set the device name for
Bluetooth connections

3. Take off you microSC memory card then read directly to your computer

cheers!

There are a few specific steps you need to follow. 1) Download this - http://malschaun.at.interims.de/Uploader 2) Set up a new network connection. Right-click, properties, on My Network Places. Choose 'Create New Connection'. Choose 'Set up Advanced Connection'. Choose 'Connect Directly to Another Computer'. Choose 'Host'. Select the Com port that your bluetooth dongle is on. Select the User Permissions. Click Finish. You'll see you have a new 'Incoming connection'. Right-click, properties. Make sure the correct Com port is selected on the General Tab. Make sure you check 'Always allow directly connected devices....without providing a password' 2) Make sure you've paired your phone (right-click option on your phone in entire bluetooth network). It might be necessary to unpair and repair after you've created the incoming connecttion. 3) Connect your phone via serial connection (also right-click menu) 4) Type #*536963# into your phone. This will enable the Serial Java download. 5) Type #*5737425# into your phone. Choose option 1 (PPP UP), then Bluetooth. Only do this once, or your phone will reset. 6) Start up the Uploader program. Select the .jad file of the game you want to upload. 7) Select option 2 on the #*5737425# menu on your phone. This should start the upload, hopefully. It can be quite intermittent, so you'll need to play around with all these steps. The order is quite important. i.e. select PPP UP before you start up the Uploader program. remember to wait after selecting the "ppp up" as it does take some time or phone will sound like its been shot and then reset... as to where you can get games from.... http://315.fiberworld.nl/d500/games.html go nuts bro!!!
