Try and switch the machine off and then back on again. This should erase the memory.

How to clear scan data

Your machine will show 100% and that is correct. It doesn't mean memory full, but rather the amount of memory that is still available. Once you scan a document you will see the memory drop down to 99% or even lower depending on the size of the scan. If you don't see this happening than you are not scanning. Other than that your scan will either go to a folder on your PC or straight to your email. All you need to do is locate the folder it saves your scan in (usually created in your C: drive) or check your email folders including your Spam/Junk mail folders.

When I try to scan, I get "memory full"

Try scanning at a lower resolution. Scanning an A4 Photo on highest resolution is likely to give the printer a memory meltdown causing the Memory Full message.

Scan at 1200x1200 DPI instead of 1200x2400 DPI. Depending on what you are using the scan for you can even bring it down further. if it is just to facebook or e-mail pictures then 600x600 is fine.

Takes 45 minutes for one scan!

Hello,

You must have been scanning using large DPI settings. Try to use 100 DPI for scanning. Also make sure that you have alot of free memory on your system. Hard drive space also affects the speed of the scanning. If you are using a parallel printer port for your scanning, this will contribute to the slowness of your scanning.

I hope this helps. Have a nice day.

When trying to scan to media it says Memory Full pres Stop. And it won't scan it. Any help?

It seems that your xerox memory is full. You must delete all documents from memory.
The easiest way is to turn off your scanner leave it approx. 5-6 seconds and turn it on.
