Question about Haier HBF05EBSS Commercial Beverage Dispenser
I damaged the evaporator coil on this refrigerator while chipping frost out of the back of the fridge (I know...dumb move). As soon as i hit the coil I heard a hissing sound and the room slowly started to smell like refrigerant. Anyway, I've found a replacement coil is available from Haier. Is it possible to install a new coil and recharge the system with R-134a? I've heard this refrigerator might not have a charging port, which may present a challenge, even if i can install the new coil.
Thank you. Any help is appreciated!!
Well, the old screwdriver through the evap trick huh?. you planned on repling evap coil and recharging with 134 a? correct??if you have that knowledge and ability then installing a charging port would be least of issue. sorry for sarcasm but not a do-it-yourself fix honestly bring it down to a local repair guy
