I have a FP1000 Black & Decker food processor & I have lost the disc stem, thus I can no longer use the grater. I have searched the web to try & buy this part, but I have had no luck. Anyone know where I can buy this part?

-   my uncle is looking for a post having to do with chopping. he has a black and decker power pro food processor, FP1000 type 1. he has called B&D, they dont carry the part. any suggestions? -   roseannmclel

I found one for 6 bucks at this site. It says it is for another model number, but it looks the same! http://www.abtecparts.com/Black_&_Decker_food_processor_fp1300.htm

I lost the disc stem as well, actually. And I found where you can order a new one.

The part only costs $4, but shipping for me was $12, so not sure if I'm going to do it or not.
