Question about Motorola Mobility L6 Cellular Phone

Motorol L6 SLVR Batter chargers

There are several different battery chargers that fit into my L6 SLVR. Can I damage it if I use, say my "Blackberry" charger which fits quite nicely? Can I safely use any charger that fits? Or do I have to have a certain 5.0V or a certain amperage? Thank you.

My blackberry bold keeps showing a battery with a redline on the screen instead of booting.

the device is drained to the bone this should go away and boot after 30 minutes max. I'm assuming you are using the original blackberry charger using a charger that fits but doesn't match the voltage/amperage that the blackberry charger outputs you wont be able to get rid of the drained battery screen if your blackberry haves juice you can use a non-approved weaker charger but that screen means it needs the original....also the blackberry USB is lets the same amount of electricity

Hi, the problem you are having is with the battery, that battery warning you are getting is telling you that the battery has got 1 or more bad cells, this then shuts the phone down and prevents you from switching it on, it does this to protect the phone from any damage being done by the battery giving out the wrong voltage.

all you need to do is replace the battery and it will be working as normal,

if you take the phone with you to a phone shop when you buy the battery then the shop assistance will be able to try it for you to make sure your getting the correct battery as their are a few different batteries that will fit into your bb,

let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

plz can you rate this solution, many thanks

I have a blackberry curve 8310, all that appears on the screen ia a bettery with a red line through it. I have taken the battery out several times, and plugged the charger in, it does nothing.

I would try another battery. Has the phone ever gotten wet? If it has it could be a product of liquid damage.

My Blackberry Curve 8310 will not power up.....

That usually is a sign of a dry cell in the battery.  You might be able to boot by plugging in the wall charger to it with the bad battery.

Motorola L6 Phone not charging or working

I solved the problem for my L6. IT appears that somehow the phone is software dependent. Meaning that you need to have the Motorola Software for the phone installed in your computer, connect the phone and voila! At least it solved my problem. All of a sudden it charged automatically and I can now charge with the power adapters too. (Yes I too went and bought a different charger, then when it didn;t worked I got a different battery..etc.) just give it a try. I think you can get it for free online somehow, just google it.
