My camera doesn't see SD 16GB anymore. Worked fine until a few days ago. SD works fine on PC

Try inspecting the memory card slot, eventually with a magnifying glass. Sometimes just a little bit of dust, a small paper or other debris, can block data transfer. Be sure al contacts on the card, but also in the camera are clean and shining. Never use sharp tools in or around a camera. Don't scratch the contact points.
And to make sure you can put pictures on a memory card, there must be space. If possible try to format the card in the camera. Just to make sure the camera sees the correct file system on the memory card.

I think that you can easily upgrade the firmware available from the Canon website.
Reference the Memory google for the Memory recovery format tool by Panasonic and you can reformat any memory card.

Last time i used it wasworking fine next day got a 'card error'

Did you try formating the memort stick.
This will clean up any error in the stick.
Don't let the battery in the camera run to low, messes with the flash memory.

Sandisk micro SD "card error"

The five pics are being stored on the camera's internal memory. The card you used was formatted and used in your phone. It's a miracle it worked at all. You need to get a new card, format it in your new camera have fun.

My sandisk memory stick pro duo wont work anymore

I have a Sony Cybershot DSC T70 and it keeps saying "Reinsert memory stick" whenever I turn on the camera or slide down the camera lid. Also, whenever I try to view the pictures on my laptop it shows "Please reinsert the memory stick" something along those lines. As I have been researching for the solution, I would have to format the memory card. However, I wouldn't want to lose the pictures as I just took many as from the holiday last week. The only problem is the memory card, I tried using another memory card and it works fine with the camera. There is nothing wrong with the camera.\r\nCan someone please help me how to solve the memory stick problem? It would be great. Ty.

Memory card errors

Could be a camera problem or a card problem. Best way to check is to reformat the card in a computer (do a long format), then reformat in the camera and see if it works.

If not, try a new card. If that doesn't work then you have a camera problem.

Cards don't last forever, so it's most likely that your card has just worn out. Some cameras are more sensitive to this than others, or it could just be a cooincidence that it's only happened in the Kodak up to now.

Put an update on here if this doesn't work, I check threads every couple days and I'll see if can help more.

When i insert the memory card the camera freezes.

It sounds as if either the file allocation table or some data on the card has become corrupted.

Have you got access to another camera (friends or family) that you could try it in?

Have you got a card reader on your PC? If so, you should be able to re-format the card using Windows. (Go to My Computer, right-click on the card reader icon and select format)

Hopefully this will cure the problem. If not, you should be able to change it if it is new.
