I need to know who the heck announced that Pluto is not a planet

There is widespread controversy regarding the planetary status of pluto as far as I am aware, it has been so for a few years. I believe that the experts have certain criteria by which the a "heavenly body" is qualified and pluto does not, for some reason, fulfil the criteria necessary to be regarded as a planet. This is all down to the various astronomical organisations who determine such things. Some still call it a planet.
Ultimately, you can call a thing what you want if you like, .... when does a hill become a mountain for instance?

How far away is neptune from the earth

  1. When Neptune and Earth line up on the same side of the sun, at their closest, they are only 2.7 billion miles (4.3 billon kilometers) apart. But when the planets are on opposite sides of the sun, they can put as many as 2.9 billion miles (4.7 billion km) between them.Dec 14, 2012.

What is the size of earth

However, Earth is not quite a sphere. The planet's rotation causes it to bulge at the equator. Earth's equatorial diameter is 7,926 miles (12,756 kilometers), but from pole to pole, the diameter is 7,900 miles (12,720 km) - a difference of only 40 miles (64 km)

Hope this helps

The distance of the Sun and Mercury

Assuming you mean the distance from earth to the sun and earth to mercury, the are as follows, according to Wikipedia: The mean distance from earth to the sun is 149,597,890 km.

The mean distance from mercury to the sun is 57,909,715 km. Extrapolating, by subtracting the two distances, one gets 91, 688, 715 km as the mean distance from earth to mercury assuming that the planets were in alignment on the same side of the sun.

However, with mercury on the opposite side of the sun from earth then the distance from earth to mercury would increase by 57,909,175 km over the earth's distance to the sun to 207,007,965 km.

I hope this helps you with your problem with the 1987 Alpine V6 though I can't imagine how.

How far is murcury away from the sun

Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun - it orbits at an average distance of 57,910,000 km, or 0.38 AU from Sun. (An AU is an Astronomical Unit; it is equal to the distance between the Sun and the Earth.) Mercury's diameter is 4,880 km and it has a mass of 3.3023 kg. Mercury has been known since at least the time of the Sumerians (3rd millennium BC). Although the Greeks had two names for it, Apollo for its apparition as a morning star and Hermes as an evening star, they knew that the two names referred to the same object. We know this planet as Mercury - the name of the Roman counterpart to Hermes.
