Question about ASUS P5GD1-VM Motherboard

Video Problems I have a 3.0 Ghz Intel processor and ASUS P5GD1-VM with 1 GB DDR Windows Xp with sp2 I use the onboard grahics and from the bios I have alloted 32 MB for video now the problem is that when I try to watch a movie using VLC player, the temperature of the processor shoots up from say 45 deg to 60 degree and the CPU fan speeds up from say 2700 rpm to 4100 rpm+, that too in just 2 minutes can you suggest me what Size should i allot for grphics?     i did change the motherboard processor everything
    now i prefer using AMD dual core, its better.

32 mb is nothing now a days for graphics. I would try the 128 mb setting.

Most probably your hardware ie graphic card do not support software requirements.

Autocad 2009 system requirements for Win XP.

just menison your OS and download your drive, but i have seen there is no windows 7 in OS list just use XP audio drive may be it will suit you.

What is the newest INTEL processor for an ASUS P5GD1-VM 915G motherboard.?


It depends on your chipset..if it is the Intel 915G chipset you can only use a Pentium4 with up to 3.3 GHZ

If this is onboard video, plug in a separate video card.
If it's already a separate card, try a different one to narrow down the cause.
