Hi,
check the security setting of the service you are using, then save that settings, then automatically the pop-up closes.

Having a problem with xml.freecause.com expired security certificate, get a "Secure Connection Failed" popup that will not go away.

This is a known bug with toolbars that use freecause.com security certificates. If you click the popup a LOT it does finally let you into the browser, at which point you can just disable the offending toolbar from view and the bug will be gone until the certificate gets updated. Try re-enabling it in a few days and see if it works.

I am having problems connecting VPN Connection on my Windows 7, it says there need to be a machine certificate installed before i can connect using L2TP/IPsec. error code :766

"Error 766: A certificate could not be found. Connections that use the L2TP protocol over IPSec require the installation of a machine certificate, also known as a computer certificate."

"Error 766: The L2TP connection attempt failed because the security layer could not authenticate the remote computer."

Cause: Connections that use the L2TP protocol over IPSec require the installation of a machine certificate, also known as a computer certificate. You will see this error message when such a certificate is not available.

Typically, this error is generated on a remote access server that has active L2TP ports configured, the remote access service started but there is no certificate in the computer certificate store. This generates an event log message that tells the administrator that L2TP ports will not be able to accept calls until a certificate is acquired and RRAS is restarted.
Resolutions: 1. If you use PPTP VPN, select Automatic in Type of VPN.
2. If you use L2TP, check the remote access server and make sure there is certificate in the computer certificate store.

Cannot log on to certain web sitesbecause of security certificate issue

Hello, one possible solution is to verify if the date and time is correct on your computer. If the date and time are incorrect the security certificate will appear to be expired. If this is the case adjust the date and time of your system.

Thanks

Server certificate

When an SSL certificate is created, the address that will be used to connect to the web page is specified. (www.mywebpage.com) If you are connecting to the IP address of the website, it will tell you that the addres that you have gone to, and the site on teh certificate don't match. There are also some problems with forwarding domain names improperly. what address are you trying to go to, and what exactly does the error say? I have a DI-614, and have never had a problem getting to Secure sites.
