We have a revenheat csi 85 and the hot water is not coming through very hot what could be the problem

Well you can,t get better than a Corgi-Registered Gas Fitter.
So they say, if the flame failure light keeps appearing, theres obviously A Fault. But this Can relate to several Issues.
1:) The flame is physically Failing, due to air being sucked into the Case. ( causing the pilot to Fail ) Unless it,s auto-ignition upon request. Lights only on demand if hot-water tap or C/H calls for heat.
2:) This Is more Common, Thermocouple failure. This is the device, that under heat from the pilot light, informs the Main Gas Valve that everything is ready to Go. If a thermocouple fails the main gas Valve Will refuse to open, and supply Gas.
3:) Most Likely Is A PCB Circuit or relay problem, The Printed circuit board controls most of the Boilers Functions, there are many relays and solenoids on-board, to shunt the diverter valves from C/H To Hot Water et,c. et,c.
Solution:- If the pilot light can actually be seen as Lit, through the viewer glass. And the flame-failure light is lit.
There is usually a reset button ( plunger ) On the underside of the casing.
Turn off the Power At the Socket ( Spur ) for the Boiler.
push the reset button, If there is One, I,m not familiar with this actual model, without downloading service manuals et,c.
turn the power back on, this may solve the issue as you have reset the boiler And PCB. Also try open-closing An hot water Tap, this can sometimes remedy minor faults, as you are working the PCB, with the possibility Of moving and opening circuits And relays et,c.
Finally if none of this Works for You.
I,d contact Ravenheat themselves, you should find a customer Services number On thier web-Site.
No-One will know, the Boilers better than the company that manufactures-repairs And maintains thier Own products.
