Dead K800i My Cellphone Sony K800i freezed and I switched it off and it switched off for good. Then when i try to switch it on the is only one sense of life on it, the flashing light at the infrared port only. She has close to a month now without coming back to life. What can i do? You need to get GPRS setting from your operator for surfing web. Pls contact your operator.

I had a similar issue, whereby my phone would turn on for 30 secs then the screen would go white and the phone would switch it self off then on.

After a lot of messing around even throwing the phone around the place. I took out the memory card and the phone worked fine. When I put the card back in, the phone started misbehaving again, so I guess the card is knackered.

it has a software problem. you should reprogram the software of your k800i. i have the same problem that too. just go to a near cellphone technician to fix your phone.

your phone software program is damage or over DL'
the best way to do is bring to the nearest Cellphone repair shop' and re-program it' special gadget and software is needed...:D

A cellphone has more complicated circuit/software than an average TV set, and anything can go wrong, we never can tell unless it diagnosed by a competent service fellow with proper resources.
Visit a reliable service shop or SonyEricsson service center.

Try the following. Leave it to charge for a couple of hours and then try Updating it with Sony Ericsson Update Service from their site using your data cable. If it says you already have the latest software force it to go on. Hope this helps.

Try this, for I had the same several times.step 1) Take out the battery completely and bring it back in again. Turn the phone on and if it still doesn't work it might be the case that the phone needs to be charged first. do step 1 again but don't turn the phone on but charge it for about 1 hour and check it again.Good luck, Rebecca
