I need to access my original facebook account which I had on my laptop which has bombed I had all my friends and groups on there and I dont want to start again can you help?

Hello, Shirley -

If you have another or a new laptop, computer, tablet, or smart phone, or if you can use a computer of a friend or relative or at a public library and if have access to the Internet (either free at a free WiFi connection location - like a cafe or a public or academic library - or have paid Internet service at home or work), then all you need to do is go to Facebook < https://www.facebook.com/ > and log in with the email address you use for your Facebook ID and your Facebook password.

Just because your laptop stopped working doesn't mean your Facebook account was cancelled and no longer exists.

Best wishes.

Need to download a service repair manual for my 2008 suzuki boulavard vl800 c50 for free .tryed several sites none were freee ...nee help please

Hello, Paula -

If you reside in the USA, your local public library system probably subscribes to several different databases of repair manuals for a variety of motorized vehicles. I suggest you contact your local public library and ask if they provide access to the EBSCO database Small Engine Repair Reference Center.

If the library system subscribes to that database, if you already hold a valid library borrower card, you can access the database for free through your home or work computer and through the library home page, by logging into your library borrower account.

When you talk with a reference / information librarian at your local public library, ask him / her to talk you through how to go about accessing the database.

If you need to obtain library borrower (and online access) privileges, you will need to visit your local public library and apply for a library borrower card. Be sure you have photo ID with you, like your current driver's license.

While you are at the library, ask one of the reference / information librarians to provide you with one-on-one instruction in accessing the proper database for motorcycle repair.

If you do not know the phone number or location of your local public library, you can find that information using this search strategy with your favorite search engine (using quotation marks as shown):
"City Name, State" "public library"

Example:
"Salt Lake City, Utah" "public library"

One of the top search results will be the link to the public library home page.

Note: Your local public library = Your taxpayer dollars at work.

Best wishes.

How do we get free internet on a pc? to update the system on my Nintendo 3ds

Hello, Leigh -

If you do not have internet access (paid) at your home, there are probably locations near you offering free WiFi access. Public libraries and trendy coffee shops often provide free WiFi access. But then, you will need to take your equipment to one of those locations.

I do i get the default username and password for vivotek fd8134 camera

An IP camera is a video camera that can be viewed over a Local Area Network or the Internet. The camera typically is monitored locally from a computer via the network to which the camera is attached. With just a few additional configurations of your network, you can access the IP Network Camera so that it can be monitored remotely using the Internet. This is the benefit of a network camera, as it can reside on an IP network and the video stream can be accessed or saved remotely.

Get the Default Gateway of your IP. step 2 Do this by entering "ipconfig/all" in your Command Prompt and hitting "Enter" on your keyboard. Your IP information will be brought up, and number you are looking for is the Default Gateway. This is underneath the IP address. Identify this number by its number pattern, which will look like the following: 111.222.3.4. Access your router. This is done by simply typing the default gateway from Step 1 above into the address bar of your Internet browser, and pressing "Enter." Forward your port by configuring your camera. Open the configuration section on the router web page where port forwarding is located by clicking on the "Applications & Gaming" link along the top of the page. In this menu, click on "Port Range Forwarding." Configuration sections can be located differently with each kind of router. Find this information by referring to the documentation that came with your router when you purchased it. Access your camera over the Internet. To do this, type your public IP address into the address bar of the web browser and press "Enter" in the same way as described in Step 2 when entering your default gateway. Note: The public IP address is different from your regular IP address. The regular IP address identifies computers and other devices on your network, whereas your public IP address is what is used to make yours lf known to others on the Internet. Your Internet service provider can supply you with your public IP address if you call them and ask for it. Hope it helps.

The problem is I do not know about using wifi.I mean whats the use of a laptop if you can't transport it

You can transport a laptop and use it anywhere you want, but for reliable internet access when away from home then you will need to find public wifi. This comes in the form of either free public hotspots, such as at McDonalds and Starbucks, or secured wifi which is provided along with another service, such as at a hotel. In order to use any of these services, you need to have a wifi enabled laptop and the correct credentials to connect to the network. For free hotspots such as McDonalds, you don't need any other details other than to select the correct network from the list of available networks and connect. For hotel wifi and the like, you will most likely need a password or key to access the wifi, which is usually provided to you upon request.

Don't forget that laptops existed long before wifi, and that browsing the internet and reading emails isn't the only thing computers were built for!

I would like to connect my laptop to the internet is there a coax cord for that

There are a few ways to connect a laptop to the internet. First, there's hard-line (such as a modem cord, or phone-cable) and with a laptop, that's it unless you have a wireless card. I do believe your model (http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/ProductList.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=430816&taskId=135) has a wireless card, but as you can see there are MANY versions of the 2200! For the most part, your particular exact model won't matter.

If you have wireless somewhere, all you need is the access codes if there is security on the wireless networks.
If you don't have wireless, and don't have internet service at the place you wish to connect at (such as your home) and have not set that up yet, you have a few options
1) Get internet at that place (such as your house; you'll call and they'll come install it, and usually rent or sell you a modem of some kind. The sales reps usually can explain what they offer and tell you what would work best).
2) Call a cell phone company and see if they offer a service of the same kind, either at the house OR via a phone/your current phone service (etc). Often this entails a cable from your laptop to the phone, or a SIM card in the laptop, or a PCMCIA card (check ebay for these, before you buy into a plan, some might be outdated so get informed).
3) Dig around; there's tools out there that one can use to make a wireless PCMCIA or express card or USB wireless device that can uplink to a satelite (usually this is more expensive). Also youtube might have some information on how to get free internet.

You will need to get internet either in a public "wifi hotspot" (often free at public libraries or coffee shops in the USA), or via a hardware line to your residence.

There isn't a way to plug a laptop in directly to the internet at a residence without some kind of modem, though you CAN often use the telephone lines directly into a PC to use software for faxing and telephone stuff.

good luck!

What is security key, when trying to find a connection? I am new at this, I am away from home, I can find a strong connection, I hit connect now, it then prompts me for a security key, what do I need to...

The owner of the Wireless Access Point has created a "password", so that "outsiders", like you, cannot connect to their network, unless the owner tells you what the password (or "security-key") is.

Take your computer to a hotel, motel, public library, Starbucks, et cetera, type of place that offers "Free Internet" to their clients. You should be able to connect.

How can i take internet in my psp

The PSP is more than a gaming platform. It has WiFi connectivity, and that means that setting up PSP Internet is possible, just like on any computer. The WiFi feature is intended primarily to be used for upgrading software and for downloading games. But you can go several steps further than that, and it isn't difficult to do either.
You need to have access to an Internet connection first and foremost. This can either be at home where you really need a wireless router, or use you can try accessing a public WiFi hotspot like your local Starbucks or wherever.
The most common home set up is an Ethernet cable running from the computer to the DSL or cable modem, which in turn is connected to the telephone line. By installing a wireless router between the computer and the DSL or cable modem, you should be able to connect your PSP to the Internet too.
Of course, setting up PSP Internet isn't just as easy as that! And if you don't have a home Internet connection of any kind, then you'll have to find a WiFi access point that will allow you to connect. This should be reasonably easy in most medium to big cities. But if you live in a small one-horse town way back in the sticks, then maybe, maybe not.
The PSP also needs WiFi access that is the 802.121b wireless networking protocol.
Hmmm... I know what you're thinking. You're thinking, that's it! Way too technical for me! But hold on, it isn't.
This protocol is, thankfully, the world's most popular one. So the chances are excellent that if you find a suitable public WiFi access point, it will be the good old 802.121b wireless networking protocol.
Most people find problems when they come to the more technical bits. Finding the Network Settings, choosing a New Connection, making sure it's Infrastructure Mode - it's all too much for many who try it. Then there's the WLAN Settings to access, a scan to implement for an SSID of any access points nearby, hoping it's not using WEP encryption!
Time to think again...
This isn't rocket science, though some may think it is.
You need, in this order:
1. To have some kind of a proven Internet connection.
2. Select the Infrastructure Mode in Network Settings and start a New Connection.
3. Access the WLAN Settings and initiate a scan to search for suitable access points.
4. Select a suitable access point that is not encrypted.
5. Test the Connection and enjoy!
