If you have "forgotten" the password, find the original sales-receipt, to prove that you are the owner (and not a thief in possession of a stolen laptop) and make a telephone-call to TOSHIBA, and they can help the registered owner with the password.
Hi smtega. There's not a jumper. Try this. Unplug the power adapter. and (assuming you know how to open the laptop) - just remove the BIOS battery inside (something like a battery for a watch, sometimes it has a sleeve or a little casing. Wait a minute or so, and then try again. If that doenst work just wait longer and then try it. I hope this helps and please dont forget to rate and provide positive
