I cant access all the programs in my computer...example, i will open the Paperport prog in my desktop, it wil not open, maybe its because of the virus. How can I remove all virus in my computer? Please solve this. Thank you very much

Have you upgraded to newer version of windows? Have you tried reinstalling Paperport? (back up max files 1st) I have had a visioneer and still use Paperport 8. Often I have problems with Windows 8 and reinstall paperport now and then.

PaperPort installs a PaperPort Black and White Image driver and a PaperPort Color Image driver. These drivers allow you to import documents onto the PaperPort desktop via the print feature.

If one or both of the drivers are missing, follow the steps listed below to run the PaperPort repair program. This program will re-install the drivers:

1. Open the Control Panel.

2.Open "Add or Remove Programs".




3.Locate and select PaperPort. Click the "Change" button.



4.When the PaperPort InstallShield wizard appears click NEXT.



5.Select "Repair" and click NEXT.



6.Click "Install" to begin the repair process.



7.When the installation is completed a window stating "InstallShield Wizard Completed" will appear. Click FINISH.

click and double clicking is for mouse not monitors. if you cant open a file in your desktop only then maybe you have an issue with your OS. first try using other mouse if still the same try to scan your computer with antivirus maybe a virus or worm is stopping you from accessing you desktop files. if still the same try scandisk to check maybe there system errors or corrupted. and lastly reinstall windows maybe faulty OS.

try to search it at program files. maybe at installation start menu folder or desktop icon didn't created but the program already installed.

open 'add or remove programs' window. if your game are listed in there, then your game is already installed at the computer. open C drive (where is windows installed) go to program files folder and search your game folder. if you find it then search the game application (.exe) right click and 'send to desktop'.

if your game is not listed in 'add or remove programs', then u need to reinstall the game. maybe there is problem with your VGA or RAM that makes the game erased after you playing the game. or maybe u have your computer 'deep freeze' program and you installed the game at frozen condition.

5. Double-click the IsScript.msi file. This installs the IsScript engine for this version of the installation.
6. Now try running PaperPort 11 again. If it still has problems opening, try reinstalling PaperPort 11.

It does not describe windows Vista, so I think it is not compatible with windows Vista, so there is 2 thing you can do :

1. you can see if it runs in compatibility mode, and you do it in this way : Highlight the program icon on the desktop or in the start folder, choose properties, select the last tab, choose compatibility mode with windows xp and try to open the program

2. If it is not working maybe you can upgrade to a newer version, for that you have to go to the product homepage . Normally you find a link in the program where you can go to the product homepage.

Microsoft's Groove Folder ruins Paperport.
If you have included Groove Folder when you installed Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007, you will need to remove it ASAP.
Start/ Control Panel/ Add or Remove Programs/ Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007,
then deselect the Grove Folder component to make it a red "X", and let windows do it's thing.
It will take about an hour (!) for windows to unhook this VERY bad software - but Paperport will run again when you are done.

Be sure to set a new restore point for your system after you reboot and test Paperport.

You cannot use the paperport software to network scan. The paperport software is looking for a driver that is not installed. Network scanning for this printer is basically just file sharing. You initiate the scan at the printer itself. It scans the image and puts it on your computer. After it is there, you can use paperport to convert it to text if need be.

my only suggestion is to download and install a trial copy then retrieve your data that may have the serial number for you to register again.
