Question about Canon Selphy CP510 Thermal Photo Printer
I have tried two new ink cartridges and the printer refuses to work. Error message shows cartridge are used up.
Printer has hardly made 20 prints from new.
Hi! I have same problem. I opened cover (4 deep screws at the bottom) and found small plastic gear was separated from stepping motor shaft. I fixed it on shaft and my printer started work again. Today I will try to fix same problem on another CP510. I think same reason. Try to do it. Simple. firstname.lastname@example.org

I have a similar problem saying that the cartridge was not installed. Try winding the film on until you can just see the yellow film and try printing again. This normally fixes my problem for that print run, but the problem seems to regularly re-occur. Hope this helps.
