My NETGEAR wireless-G Router WGR614 is not recognising in INDIA. it shows only "united states" as a country in listbox.
Step One : open the web broweser and type http://www.routerlogin.net/ or http://192.168.1.1/.
Step Two: it would ask you for username and password. enter Username : admin and Password : password .
Step Three : Confiuring the router.
1) please avoid setup wizard and confure it manually and follow the steps below.
2) you would need to click on left frame buttons for the configration to come on the right side.
3) On the right menu now click on wireless settings in the setup section.
a) give a SSID name that is a name you want to see when connecting to the the wireless router while connecting from a wireless device. E.g. ( "mp's netowrk",etc.)
b) Region Select Asia (If asia is not appearing no problems), Wi-Fi is an unlicenced frequency so wont cause any problems but in this region Channel 11 is used so please set channel to 11. If still not working we will figure it out. (altough please follow all the steps.

Starting IP Address 184.108.40.206
Ending IP Address 220.127.116.11
(the ip range should not be more that five ip address as otherwise the performance output would be pathetic)
Then Click "Apply".
Router Config Done..Now on the right side click in "Logout" (bottom most option)
after the router logout is done close the web browser and remove the network cable and the the power cable from the router.
Post Configring Steps :

Connect to you wireless netowrk using you laptop or wireless card in your computer and provide the WPA-PSK - TKIP passord which you had given in router for preventing unauhorized access.
