According to one of the Casio manuals, it turns the "top of the hour" reminder on and off. Paste this link:
... and then go to page 3 and zoom into the lower left portion for info. Or you can do a "whole word only" search for "sig" ... then zoom into the directions (tiny manual) and use the steps/info for your particular model.
BTW ... The ":00" looks to be just the mode indicator = can't change the values ... the on or off indicator looks to be a bell or a filled in "piece of the pie" in the upper right portion of your display, according to your specific watch model.
Hope this helps ... rb

The time is set for this watch by pressing and holding the 'Reset' button. Then, the 'St/Stp' button is pressed to advance the flashing value and the 'Mode' button is used to switch between different fields of the time. Press 'Reset' once at the end after finishing setting the time.
But,does anyone know what the 'SIG' mode is in this watch and its use?

A lot of users are having trouble getting this watch going. Timex has two ways to find information about your particular watch. Some of these models only have a guide consisting of a few pages. If you don't have the manual, Try this link:
Direct link for the W-207 movement:
Complete Timex link site:
Now, look up the model number, or if you cannot find that, check the three-digit Module Number from the back of the watch. Click on it in the Module Table, and download a PDF of your watch setting-instructions/manual.
If you need further help, call Timex in Little Rock, Arkansas, phone 1-800-448-4639.
I hope this helps you. Thanks, Bill
