Question about Creative Labs Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra MP3 Player

1 Answer

I cant hear the volume in my mp3 player, and I'm not sure whats wrong. It was fine earlier but now I think maybe I dropped it or it just blew out. I saw that someone said that maybe it could be a cracked board or a broke soilder joint, and I was wondering if there is something I could do about it? or should I just get another player

I cant hear voices when i play my mp3 player

Haven't you think that's this is probably the reason why the former possessor of this mp3 just let it lay on the road???

Or maybe it's just an equalizer prob in the mp3

Cant hear anything

Try different headphones, see if they work. Also, go into the audio settings menu, and make sure all of the audio settings are kosher.

As for the is normal for an mp3 player to do "something" when you unplug it from computer - turn on, update, turn off when you disconnect it from computer, etc. It is not normal for you to get power ONLY when you are connected to computer. After disconnecting from computer, try turning the mp3 player back on - does it turn on? Make sure it is fully charged, of course.

If it won't turn on outside of plugging it into computer, then hold in the volume + button before you reconnect it to computer and continue holding it for 10-30 seconds after reconnecting - Windows will try to reload any missing drivers/software. If the problem persists, I would find out if your mp3 player is still in warranty, b/c it will need to be replaced.

Hmm... Maybe try removing the battery without turning the player off. I know it sounds crazy, but it resets the player to the default volume settings.

No vocals!

Maybe your headphones are pulled out halfway.

Help me!

check the volume, try unplugging, and then replugging the earphones, then if that doesn't work you might try a different headset. these cheap ones burn out quickly. if none of that works then there must be a problem with the device itself.
