When you open your door you will see a flat bar that slides into the door while opening and closing. It is located between the two door hinges. There is a rubber on the door where the flat bar slides in and out, remove that rubber and you will see little rollers in the door, those rollers need to be oiled, preferably with engine oil. Oil the rollers and work the doors back and forth, the noise should abate.

Try WD40 at the hinge points or if you can try to buy a product called Tri-flow as it is better.... If you change your oil at a quick stop they should do this as a service as it is a lube check..... I still remember gas station attendants washing you windscreen!

My 2001 xterra started making a weird sound between 20 and 35 mph. It sounds like there is a leak in some pressure system.

Common Car Noises and Their Likely Causes Noise More Details Likely Cause Fixing It Clicking noise while turning Starts faint, gradually becomes more noticeable until very loud Failed outer CV joint (constant velocity joint) due to torn boot (most likely) or old age Replace either the whole axle assembly (recommended) or the outer CV joint Water pump noises Difficult to diagnose because of water pump's location Noise usually caused by damage to the bearings in failed water pump Only cure is replacing it. If possible do it at the same time as a timing belt replacement to cut down on labor costs Squeak or squeal from an engine belt Loud, high-pitched squeak or squeal Belts either need adjustment or replacing If belts only squeak when damp, they probably just need adjustment. Opening door makes terrible noise

On Dodge Stratus' door bearings are known to lock up. It is one located in the middle on the door arm. When they seize, the door pops because it no longer glides on the arm.

My 2003 Volkswagen Passat makes a terrible nolise in the rear end when getting in and out of the car, what is that? The noise is like a squeaking, rubbing noise

This would most likely be suspension related, but to find it you need to safely jack up the car and actuate the suspension in the same way, to make the squeak, Look for shiny spots where something may be rubbing, look closely and listen at rear shocks and springs...

My 2005 ford escape has a terrible squeek coming from under the gas pedal. It becomes worse as I accelerate. I can't find any type of linkage to lube.

there is nothing under the floor of the pedal will make that terrible squeak sound. have your belt check make sure they are tight and not slipping, it will also make that loud squeak sound if it slips. go to auto parts store and purchase a can of WD40 and spray it on all the pulley under the hood. have the engine off while spraying the pulleys. don't worry if it get on other parts of the engine. Common problems with pulleys squeaking on many vehicle.
