More than likely, you popped an amp channel. My experience is that it is the one closest to the middle of the heat sink.

Take it to an authorized service center, and be prepared for a large bill. Good luck...Rob

Component inputs are for video only, and when connected through a receiver then the television also must have a video input coming to it from the video out from the receiver. If you want audio that will be a separate connection from the xbox to the receiver either by digital coaxial cable or optical cable, or composite.

If DIGITAL sign blink, this mean DSP board is defective. It will cut the sound on the AMP section. DSp is maybe defective.

Avr-2802 constantly restarting itself and flickering on and off

check all speaker wires from the receiver end and the speaker ends. Just the smallest strand of copper could be touching something it should not be touching. Make sure all copper is in the speaker post and not hanging out. The receiver is getting a short and shutting off to protect it self. This could have happened since you were just plugging things in.

DENON AVR 2802 (NO SOUND)

If "Digital" sign blink on front panel, it means DSP do no start properly. If DSP do not start, main UC mute audio. Change IC, AT49LV002-70TC (IC 817 ) at DSP board (Denon P/N: 262 3010 006).
