Question about Audio Players & Recorders

3 Answers

I have a jensen nav 101 navigation, I use it with a jensen vm9022 in my car. Whenever I use the navigation, the audio will cut off the music and act like it's gonna give me directions, but there will be no words coming out. I called in and I was advised to update my sd card with the disc, but that isn't working. Just wanna know if there are any special steps or instructions that I have to follow in order to load the sd card

I have the same system and there's no problem with the sound.

First, the SDcard with the navigation software should be in the NAV101 not on the VM9022.

If you want to listen music in the same time you have direction from the navigation, you should select your radio station, or sdcard music. After that, you enter in the navigation by the PIP button. If you use the SRC button, you'll stop the music and only hear the NAV direction.

When the NAV101 want to give you an information, the music sound turn off, the direction is given and the music came back.

Be sure to put the NAV101 in English.
Be sure the P.VOL for the NAV is ON in the VM9022 menu (P.19 of VM user manual)
Be sure the cable between the NAV and the VM is correctly installed

No Sound from Jensen VM9725BT

Jimmie Monica Hey, Its not a problem with the unit. You have the blue or Blue/White wire hooked up wrong. Disconnect both the blue wire and the blue and white wire and I guarantee the sound starts working on everything. If you have one of those two wires hooked up for a power antenna or remote amp turn on, then switch which one you are using and that will fix the problem permanently. Disconnecting them both will get it to work though. I guarantee it. Please post back and let me know if it works for you. Thanks

Sub not working after installing the jensen vm9022 deck

reinstall the factory radio use a digital volt meter to see witch wire supplies voltage when radio is turned on and off, note placement on harness then verify this wire is hooked up on the output side aftermarket harness you may have to jump it to get the maps to turn on. tip you can carefully pull unused wire from harness example (dimmer wire orange white) and move it to the position needed to keep it a clean install .

Jensen vm9412 car stereo

when this happens , the only thing to do is, send it back to the factory , and have the warranty ready with your book that came with it , there is a 1800-no. to call to send to the company, cause like a computer, that needs the program to work right, now it need to be reinstalled,i recomend never installing the navigation dic on here, it causes probs , and i learned it the hard way...the only way to get it fix is by retruning it to the company with your warranty. oh and if you don't have it this there no.-18003234815 for repair, they will let you know how much to fix and where to send it..good luck.

Jensen vm9022

was the unit new or was it a demo? if it was new in a box I would take it back to where you purchased it from and exchange it. some decks the code can be reset such as the case you bought a used car ect., and others you need to replace the code IC in either case you will need to contact jensen custmer service or get the technical schmatic.
good luck stereo tech
