The only thing spring to mind Mary is that you somehow selected a cleaning cycle which superheats the oven and turns burnt on fat and grease to charcoal. The cleaning cycle never finished and the stove remembers it. The light is flashing to remind you. When the cleaning cycle is in progress, the door locks until it is finished.
Either remove the wall power plug or flip the breaker and leave it overnight. It _should_ erase it from the memory. Or you have to compete the cleaning cycle as per the instruction book.

Hello there and welcome to Fixya This is a fairly common problem with self cleaning ovens The
problem normally is that the user has interrupted the clean cycle and
the door is locked by default or the door lock assy has failed all
together . Now here is the thing these ovens have a built in memory
module that stores a number of commands that the user has input in it
like self clean or broil ect.ect so what you will have to do is to
clear the memory and it is done like this. First unplug the oven and do not touch it leave it sit for a minimum of 1 hour this will reset the memory module Now
only after the hour is up plug in the oven and you may hear a beep ora
click if so great wait a few min then you can press the cancel button
then try to open the door again.
You will need to allow oven to cool, the temperature is one thousand degrees plus while the oven is cleaning. Until the oven cools it will not open, this is a safety caution. If it will not open after it is totally cooled, it may be stuck, try pushing on the door or pulling it out a bit while trying to move the lever.
Always consult the owners manual when using the cleaning mode on your oven. Be sure it is fully cooled before cleaning any residue out of oven area.
try to hold down the light switch on the door set it up for another cleaning hit start when oven clean door lock showes hit cancel if that doesnt work try unplugging it for three min fyi the doors can take up to an hour to un lock after cleaning its so it dont burn your face off from the intense heat after cleaning some take 2
