These timers are crappy but easy to take apart. The leaf switches inside there get a burr on it and no heat; basically like filing points on a car. Smooth up the contacts put her back and see is what I would do.

My dryer lights up like its working, with NO error code... just the 0:00 on the timer. The start/pause light blinks, the lint filter light blinks, and the wrinkle light stays lit. Ive vacuumed and cleaned...

there are many things to be checked if you can try this is the solution.but cant do if not getting it properly. because the problem is very minor because the power light is can call the tecnician the cost will not more than his service charge.
the procedure is here you can check if you can

, over temp protection activating due to insufficient ventillation or motor is defective and heating up excessively.normally if both drum support wheels are worn or defective, plus if veld strip on drum is worn, motor will overwork and fail.

your dryer is a 220 plug check the circuit breaker first
one 110 runs the heating element and the other 110 runs motor and dials
this is usually the cause of dryer malfunctions
heating elements are simple big mesh of curled metal wire like a toaster but more of it
it would take alot to knock out the heating element
check the dials too these could be sticking or worn dials you dont have to run dryer to check dials
thanks mam

No heat but already replaced heating elimate

Check the thermal cuttoff. It is located on the element. If it does not have continuity, replace it. Also replace the Hi-limit thermostat, also located on the element, and the operating thermostat, located on the exhaust. These two should cut off the heat before the thermal cutoff blows.

did you check the heating element "neutral" connection from the input power to the heater connection, this wire carries the im- balance of current to all the dryer components and gets hot and brittle

Kenmore dryer model 869-801-00 serial# m93688044 stock# 69801, 1989 dryer runs but gets no heat. replaced power cord. heating elimate was tested told to be ok. So what else could it be?

Most dryers have a thermal fuse, which burns out when the dryer overheats, in which case the dryer will either not run at all or stop heating. The fuse is usually located on the vent duct, inside the dryer. A blown fuse will show no continuity when measured with a meter. Before replacing the fuse, make sure the blower wheel is not broken or clogged, and there is nothing blocking the venting.

Note: It is recommended by most dryer manufacturers to replace a hi-limit thermostat when replacing a thermal fuse.
