This is probably one of three causes: 1. The lamp has reached the end of its life. 2. The projector is overheating because of dust buildup/position/etc. 3. The projector has an actual problem with its internal components. The lamp on a projector is very special and most likely won't just blow out like a regular light bulb. When a projector lamp fails, it's more like it can't sustain a burn, but probably won't have a lot of trouble starting one. The projector will probably have an indicator or what have you to indicate end of lamp life. If your projector has an air filter, make sure it's clean. Make sure the projector has enough space around it for proper ventilation and that it's on a flat, smooth surface (no carpet). If you rule out lamp life and overheating, you'll probably want to leave the problem to the manufacturer or a professional electronics repair person.
