Re: 2003 Lincoln LS
That is the problem of cds changer today. However, maybe that could be resolve by severe examination in where is the source of the problem. some causes made by dust inside, just blow it by a blower, wrong position of the tray, the alignment should be fix, Power off the and disconnect power for almost a minute and hooked it back ..Hope you should be ok.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

If the issue is you cannot eject the cartridge this would be simple.
Slide the changer door open as if ejecting the cartridge.
Take a credit card/driver license and insert about 2 to 3 inches between cartridge and chassis. You should hear a click and the cartridge should eject.
Once the cartridge is out check to make sure there isnt a stuck CD in the changer. If there is remove the loose CD. If the CD is stuck in the player itself insert the empty cartridge the changer will cycle through the process. Once it stops you can press eject button and the CD should be in the cartridge.
hi i recently bought a lexus ls400 and it the trunk it has a ten disc cd changer by the steering wheel in the car is this little black box that keeps reading E-99 evertime i press play on this odd little box that is the control device to make the cd's play i've put the cd 's in the changer upside down right side up testing it and still the little black cd player play button/disc change button keeps saying E-99 my question is, is it a fuse or is this cd player thing near the stearing wheel just a peiece of garbage please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any idea why this is doing this because i can't play any cd's theres no cd player where the cd/tape decks usually are in cars in the middle above the column shift. it would mean the world to me if you could help me out with any information as to why this brand new sony ten disc cd changer is giving issues to the cd player thing next to the stearing wheel on the right it's kind of hidden but it just won't stop saying e-99 no matter how brand new a cd i put in the changer thank you your friend john bunce
I have a 2002 Ford explorer and a 6 disc cd changer, all slots are full, no CD's will eject or play. I just took my car to a local body shop, they went under the hood, disconnected my battery, plugged it back up and my CD's came out when I pushed the eject button
I HAVE A 2003 INFINITY FX 35, CD CHANGER STOP WORKING,WHEN I TURN THE CAR ON SOUNDS LIKE IT WANTS TO EJECT, IT WONT LOAD NEDER.CD STUCK,CD CHANGER WONT WORK, PLEASE WHAT SHOULD I DO,,HELPPPPPPP. HOW CAN I GET THE CD TO EJECT. OR LOAD...
My 2001 Lincoln LS has done this 3 or 4 times in the last 8 years. I disconnected the battery (for a minute), pulled the fuse, held the 'load' 'eject' button simultaneously for about 1 minute, banged on the dash, slid a credit card along the opening...prayed : ) For 2 days it wouldn't work. Then today I pressed the CD button and it worked. I immediately removed the one 'burned' CD that I had in slot 5, The only think I can think might have affected it was- 1. Put in a new CD that one of our local gospel groups made. 2. Weather had been quite warm, then 2 days ago, it got freezing cold outside again???? I don't know? Probably just an idiopathic occurrence. It is the Alpine head, LS sports package.
