Question about Washing Machines
I have a Hotpoint Aquarius WM63 (i think) which won't turn on. I think the problem is with the door lock, is this easy to fix?
My neihbors Maytag had a bad "wax motor" on the door. It's the locking mechanism. When it went bad it also damaged the control board which I was able to repair luckily. Total cost was less than $50. I don't charge labor..haha. If it's just the lock I'd say <$200. If the control board is bad I'd say >$500.
