Overheats and shuts down while playing Sims 3

Try and purchase a system check and fix program, I use "Tune Up Utilities 2014" It comes with several great options, 1 is you can configure live optimization to fit your needs and it has Tune Up 1 Click Maintenance that will clean all your files Quickly and easily, and you don't have to be an expert to use it. The best part for you is it has a turbo mode which will automatically temporarily shut off unnecessary programs while you play Sims 3 (Sims 3 uses up a ton of Virtual Memory while you are playing it). Next purchase a Laptop cooling tray, its a light weight metal tray with cooling fans on it that will keep your laptop cool while using it, they come in a variety of sizes too, I purchased a Cooler-master one off the internet for my brother-in-law and he says it is the best thing he has purchased for his laptop. He says it stays supper cold while he plays Battlefield 3...Hope this will help you..

You need an AGP graphics card. Preferably 8x. These are getting difficult to find now as the interface has been replaced (in general use) by the PCI-E standard. Hope this helps.

You need to make sure the card is compatible with your laptop, and that it fits. If you have a card that fits these conditions then fit it and install the drivers. But the card must go in the correct slot.

Help changin cartridge for the lc 51 series

The Brother lc-51 series cartridges fit a variety of different Brother printers.

On this Brother.com support page

you should select the printer model that you have, and download the user manual for your printer. Once you've downloaded the manual, look in the 'Routine Maintenance' section for how to change the printer cartridges.

Dots on print out

hi textmum,

Usually anomalies of this kind on the print output indicates that the printer is overdue for a maintenance cycle. This is due to the usual operating wear and tear the printer experiences during it's life cycle.

Seeing as how this could be an expensive operation, I suggest we first eliminate problem with the printer driver as the cause of the anomalous print output. To do this I need you to reinstall the printer on your PC using the latest drivers:

  1. Download the latest driver for your printer at
    http://www.samsung.com/za/support/download/supportDown.do?model_nm=ML-1520&mType=DR&vType=L&disp_nm=ML-1520
(be sure to select the driver which corresponds to the operating system you are running on your PC)
  2. Delete the printer from your PC
  3. Install the printer using the newly downloaded driver
If reinstalling the printer using the latest print driver doesn't result in a solution to the print output problem, we can deduce that the problem is caused by a hardware component.
To solve the hardware related problem you will need to either perform the maintenance cycle yourself or take the printer to a computer repair shop so a IT technician can do it for you. This process involves buying a maintenance kit (which contain replacement components for the printer), and replacing the components according to the maintenance kit manual.

Hope you find this information helpful in solving your printer related problem
