Last night i had my samsung impression in the bathroom with me and usually i out it in my back pocket and when i went to go bathroom my phone fell in, i quickly took it out and dried it off then put it in a bag of rice, after almost 12 hours i took it out and out it together and turned it on but it only went to the loading page. what do i do? please help!!

calibrate your touch screen. pull out battery and put back in, if anything the touch screen s porbably bent from pressure, puttting it in your back pocket could cause this. if calibrating it doesnt work, you need a new touchscreen or a new phone

My son and I both have the first galaxy S phones, love them. Yesterday his went black, just the 4 buttons on bottom lit up and it would vibrate. No one was able to help us so we bought a prepaid phone as a temp fix. I tried everything even the holding of the volume and power button to hard factory reset..would NEVER get to right selection before it went wonky.

Well this morning I thought that something might be up with the power on button....so I:
1. removed the back and the battery from the unit.
2.very carefully removed the 7 screws.
3. VERY GENTLY pried the screen from the back.
4. Very gently opened up and used a can of air to flush out the pocket fuzzies. the front nevery did come completely off, just the side with the power button.
5. the power button fell out/off and I gently replaced everything.
6.replaced the battery and did a hard reset.
7. Works perfectly now.

Funny thing though, last night while my son's phone was acting up, so was mine, and I had to do a hard factory reset on mine also. It was vibrating at strange times, and would either freeze of get loggy between screens. Fortunately I backed up all of my contacts with my email account.

BTW I am a 49 year old mom, if I can do this anyone can.

I am having a problem with my Samsung phone. When i go to voice mail and enter my code, the light goes out! The light flashes on and off...The answering service is asking you to put your code in but the phone goes dark! This is a new smart phone and i have only had the phone less that a week! outside of this problem, this a nice phone!

If it's a new phone, take it to the place that you purchased from and have them check it out. Make sure you take your box, charger, and paperwork and receipts with you. Good Luck.

have you tried removing the battery and sim card leaving them out for a couple of minutes then replacing them and turning it back on
