1. Check that you are in the same workgroup (My Computer -> Properties -> Computer Name tab -> Workgroup 2. Check the firewall status on the other computers. You may be blocked because of this.

You mentioned that you have Windows XP SP1... You need to install at least SP2 or even SP3 for this adapter to work. If this computer doesn't have internet access at all, then you can usually get SP2 or SP3 on a disc for free from Microsoft.

1.Check whether there is ping to router from lan computers.
2. If there is no ping then check the cable b/w lan computers 7 router.
3.Else if there is ping to router, then check ur router for any ip blocks, access lists etc..
4. Turn - off the local firewall, so there also a chance of it blocking access to internet

Does PING works on the same location where Camera's are located?

Usually, RDP connections uses the same PC on LAN and that should work fine. Please check Camera's configuration; make sure they have valid IP address, SM, Default gateway and DNS servers. Make sure that PC with enabled RDP can PING computers on the LAN either by IP address or Computer name. Make sure they're part of the same WORK GROUP.

Initially check whether the ip address is assigned in the computer in which internet is not browsing using the command ipconfig/all for windows and ifconfig for linux.If ip is present try to ping the default gateway ip address,if ping is success there is no issue in the cable you used and also with ip address.If ip is not assigned assign ip by manually or by using dhcp of router.Enable and disable the lan card in the router so that sometimes the problem get resolved.After ip is assigned and ping with router is ok .Ensure dns servers are correct else give google public dns server 8.8.8.8.Then try to ping www.google.com in command prompt if ping is success then you can browse.

Try to map the IP of the computer you are trying to access
Click run>type \\IP of the computer the click ok. If this will not work, try to ping the IP of the computer see if the computer is accessible tru ping.
