Need to know where the fuse is for the cig lighter

It's in position 27 and is a 15 AMP fuse.

You can go to this free Ford website to view or download the owners manual.
On page 116 you'll find the fuse block diagram that shows the locations.

Try replacing the wiring. Sounds like a short somewhere.

1998 contour parking lites on left side front & rear do not work, bulbs are good.

The problem isnt a "fuse" The problem is either a bad ground to that circuit or the turn signal arm is faulty. If it were a fuse no signals would work. You can also check the blinker relay(flasher) which is also known to be faulty and cheaper to fix. wf

My cigerrette lighter does not work need to now why my horn does not work as well. bad fuse or what ?? and where would it be located??

Ford does put the Cig lighter and horn on the same fuse on alot of models. You should have a panel under your steering column or on the drivers side dash on the side. Locate your panel open it and look for a blown fuse. Your manual should tell you what fuse it is or use a test light to check them one by one

1997 ford contour turn signal problem

Check the left side of the vehicle for a blown bulb or incorrect bulb in one of the sockets. The fast flash is a signal to tell you something is wrong with that side
