Hi, my Hotpoint Aquarius + WF630 screen has what looks like something E5 something on the screen and goes from prewash through to spin within a few moments and no water enters. i have made sure the drain...

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
If you have cleaned the drain filter AND checked the operation of the drain motor, for Hotpoint (and the manufacturer Indesit) E5 states ' pressure switch jammed on full or pump blocked- check switch and module'. Sometimes there can be bad connections between plugs/cables/module (PCB). If you haven't done already please make sure that the pump does actually work by removing the filter, seeing the pump motor and putting the machine on spin. You should see it rotate! Otherwise it looks like a service call ;-0(
Good luck,
John C

Hotpoint Aquarious WF630 error code H20. It will fill and wash with both hot and cold water but when it gets to rinse and spin the error code flashes. It will however spin if i manually change the...

H20 does in fact indicate a problem with the incoming water supply.
Check the inlet hoses/s to make sure they are not kinked or restricted in anyway, more so when the washer is pushed back.#
Make sure tap/s are fully turned on, make sure you have good water pressure.
It would also be a good idea to check the gauze filters in the inlet to the valve/s.

Hotpoint washing machine, model WF630, Error F-03???

Error code F03 is indicating a problem with the wash thermistor, it could be open or short circuit.
Check connections on thermistor and heater element.
Hope this helps.

Leak from lower door section and from powder door thing.

This could be a partially or completely seized/failed pump.
Before a machine goes in to a spin cycle, it runs the pump to empty all the water out. It used to be quite common that the machine does not check all the water has gone before spinning, it just runs the pump for a set time which if the pump is okay, is long enough to empty it.
If a spin is then started with quite a lot of water left in the drum, it gets thrown everywhere including back out of the powder/conditioner draw. Also the sheer strain of spinning a large amount of water can force water through an otherwise okay door seal.
Unless you are comfortable working on the machine yourself, call an engineer.

The washer has stopped emptying and spinning. The pump does not appear top be making any sounds either. It is a hotpoint aquarius

OK... Pessure switch is proberbly stopping the machine from spinning due to the water level in the machine... The pump could have just stopped working, or, the control board could be broken and therefore the pump not getting a supply current, or, the propeller in the pump could be jammed by debris.

1. Turn the machine off, and unplug...

2. Take the drain pipe and lower it to an outside door or other place to safely drain the water away that is still in the drum.

3. Follow the drain pipe till it reaches the pump. Check the lead to the pump to make sure it is properly engaged into its recess on the pump motor.

4. Take the hose off the pump in order to clear any debris and then replace the hose

5. Having done all that, plug the machine in and turn it on

6. Put it onto a spin programme ... The machine should now lock the door, then both pump and spin actions should start... If not, your control board or cabling is at fault

I cant find my filter

It is either behind the kick plate at the front or in the pipe on the bottom of the drum which runs to the pump.
This is acessed by removing the panel at the back.
Hope this helps & thankyou for using Fixya.
