Head unit - JVC Camelion
Front - Sony Xplode 4 way 8" 150w (will need door pods)
Back - Kenwood 7x10, 4 ways, 320W, (these will act like subs for you)
Wiring - Make sure you use competiton wiring in the system.

Hello.... sorry to hear about your problem. Bass is the ultimate evil of coaxial speakers. You have a couple of options here, and this is just my professional opinion because I do not know what your lifestyle details, such as truck space needs, type of music you listen to, budget, etc. If you are looking for alot of bass, the best bet would be to use 2 external amplifiers, 1 for the interior speakers, and 1 for a subwoofer. You would then need to purchase an electronic crossover. With this setup, you can remove all of the low frequencies from the coaxial speakers and put them where they belong, with the sub. You will gain EXCEPTIONAL clarity and a very high volume before distortion level. Again it will depend on what your budget is and if you are willing to compromise on some cab space. The only other option you have at this point is if you are wanting to play your music at high volume levels, you will just need to reduce the bass level as you increase volume. I hope this has helped. Good luck with your venture!!

Amplifier For Powering Sony Xplod xs-l121p5

Pump the brakes!
You need to know the RMS power rating of the sub you are powering.
Dont exceed the RMS power rating of the sub by more than 25%.
If you see a peak power rating on either the sub or the amp, ignor it, means nothing. Always compare RMS ratings.
Example: a Sony 12" Xplod sub, boasting 1200 watts, will only handle, 350 watts RMS, so the amp you choose to power the sub should be 350 watts RMS as well, and should not exceed more than 25% of the RMS power handling (487.5 watts).
Bottom line, know your RMS numbers, not Peak.

Ive got a prob with my xplod subwoofers, Any info???

It's your amp. unplug the rca's and that should narrow it down for you.One at a time. If it sounds like a bass drumroll, then like i said, it's the amp.

Aux has disappeared from src options on kenwood car stereo

Im not sure if this will work but you can give it a try. On pioneer stereos, when the aux is not an option you have to turn the power off and hold the function key to get into the stereo's "options" menu and from there you can turn it on. Good Luck.
