Its the surge protector - plug it into the wall to see if that takes care of it and then put a UPS or uninterupted power supply on it so it has protection.

My dehumidifier is leaking from the bottom. Was working fine. Bucket is only collecting about an inch of water. any suggestions

The problem is due to clogged tubing inside the unit. To solve the problem, do the following:

Remove the water collection bucket and look up inside the bucket holder cavity. You will see either a drain hole or small tubing that drains the water into the bucket. Using an appropriately sized, 18" long, plastic Zip Tie, carefully insert the tip of Zip Tie into the hole or tubing. Continue to push it in until you reach a bend in the tubing. You will need to gingerly work the Zip Tie past this bend, until it either bottoms out or you run out of usable Zip Tie. Then slowly pull the Zip Tie back out while rotating (twisting) it. This will breakup any clogs. As you reach the inserted end of the Zip Tie, be prepared, as some water may follow. Reinstall the bucket, plug the unit in and turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON. Set the humidity extraction level to 35% or Maximum if you have a manually controlled unit. Allow the unit to run, while you monitor it for any leakage.

NOTE: If you don't have a Zip Tie, you may use something similar ( i.e.a long pipe cleaner), but NO wire coat hangers
.

I hope I was able to help you solve the problem. Thanks for choosing FixYa.

Phillips 55" rear projection HD ready --power button lights up, but no picture or sound--just a clicking noise. Also, we can no longer adjust the blue convergence. The adjustment screen comes up, but we...

Got our tv in 2004 and we're having the exact same problem. When the blue convergence started going a couple months ago my husband researched the heck out of it and decided it would cost less to just replace the tv with a newer, nicer model rather than repair it. And now, as of last night, we are having the same power issue where the power button goes on, but won't stay on. It just clicks on and off and no sound or picture. Did you ever get yours fixed, or did you end up replacing?

The picture and sound on my 55 inch Sony disappears momentarily

Hi,do you hear any strange noises? If you hear clicking or like wanting to turn on it could be the board that powers the lamp it's called the ballast. But if you don't hear any strange noises,tv is around 6000 hrs,2-4 yrs it could be time to replace the lamp. The lamp you need is XL-2200.You can find it here: http://www.discount-merchant.com/Sony-XL-2200-TV-Bare-Lamp-Bulb-p/sony_xl-2200u_a1601753a_lamp.htm?Click=48173 Have a blessed one!

55 inch tv shut off will not turn on any more

velvel535, since you do get the other led's to light up it could be that you have an operable power supply and the problem is more than likely in the horizontal deflection circuit' a shorted h.o.transistor or components related to it.If the tv does have a good power supply you will hear some kind of noise when you push the power key though this is not a sure indicator of a good power supply. some repair costs for a horiz out problem can run up to 290 dolls depending on the problem. Please leave positive feedback if i answered your question.thanks!
