WP5540 problem..

I connected the tablet and turn on the pc, the tablet was connected via ps/2 and serialport.. I use a serial to usb adapter(which is properly installed) because my PC dont have a serial port, installed the drivers and softwares but nothing happens.. the documentation says that there should be an icon on the taskbar but theres none, it can't be detected at the "add new hardware" command..

but the tablet's led lights on, which means its working and has power,but I think it just can't be detected... my OS is winXP..

help me out! i need your help badly!

-   I am having the sam problem with a uc-logic wp4030 only mine didn't even work from the start. The box says it is windoes xp compatible but my computer says windows does not recognise the driver hence no action. The tablet itself seems ok as the lights working etc.

I can only find the driver on www.superpen.com (very hard to find...just luck & google) in case this was recognised where the enclosed software was not but still no luck despite install/reinstall!!-   damjb

Drivers for this device manufactured by Shenzhen Ugee Technology Company and labelled by various vendors can be found at http://www.uc-logic.com/download/download_driver.htm

The driver version 5.0.1.0 is the latest as below:-

Graphics tablets 
Device driver for 2000/XP/XP64/Vista 
Driver 5.01 2007.08.23  
5.0MB

I don't know about USB to Serial but it might be worth a try emailing the company support folks at service@uc-logic.com

Ok I just used THIS http://www.superpen.com/
go to the Downloads page!
I used the 1st one and it works!
tested with MS Paint
on the other's..ymmv.
